PERKitz.com is a community intranet discount service provider targeted at any “community” that has an organization structure to it. For example, Corporations, Schools, Churches, Sports Leagues, Groups and Associations are all communities.
What is a Discount Service Provider?
PERKitz.com has developed a web-based application that allows communities to access (FREE of charge) local discounts, promotions and specials from local vendors such as restaurants, spa/salons, car services, and others.
FREE access to Communities?
Yes, the service is FREE to communities that sign up to be part of the network. We DO NOT sign up individuals we sign up the community you belong to.
If it’s FREE to Communities, how does PERKitz.com make money?
Local vendors that rely on promotions and discounts as part of their advertising pay PERKitz.com a small service fee to advertise their discounts and/or promotions to their local network of communities.
What sort of discounts/promotions are available?
It really depends on your community. For example, Corporations are interested in giving their employees access to discounts on “life services” during working hours such as, “where are we going to lunch today”? Or who’s catering our office party? For some, it’s a need to get their car serviced during the lunch hour … or maybe a hair cut or manicure or even to drop off their dry cleaning, it could even be for working out. These are all “life services” which are typically done in and around the work place. These local vendors are willing to offer better discounts and promotions to a community rather than an individual. Each community can specify the type of discounts and promotions that they would like their community to have access to.
What’s unique about PERKitz.com?
PERKitz.com is really in the business of “building relationships”. We build personal relationships with both local vendors and communities. We believe that the technology is only ½ the equation. Why would local vendors want to use PERKitz.com? Local vendors are experiencing disappointing results from “Print” and “Direct Mail” advertising. They know they need to be able to reach more people at different times in different places. They understand how important awareness and word of mouth is to their business and how critical it is nowadays to target their promotions and discounts. PERKitz.com gives them a better tool in today’s environment to do all that.
